Who this programme helps
Many women spend years managing symptoms that are poorly understood in primary care. This programme exists to change that, giving you access to clinicians who genuinely specialise in these conditions.
Recurrent UTIs
Urinary tract infections that keep coming back, often treated with repeated courses of antibiotics that provide only short-term relief. Recurring UTIs can significantly affect quality of life, work, relationships, and sleep. A specialist can investigate the underlying cause and develop a longer-term management plan.
Painful Bladder Syndrome
A chronic condition causing persistent bladder pressure, pelvic pain, and a frequent or urgent need to urinate, often in the absence of infection. Symptoms are real and can be severe, but are frequently misdiagnosed or dismissed. Our consultants are experienced in diagnosing and managing this complex condition.
Interstitial Cystitis
The term Interstitial Cystitis (IC) could now be considered outdated, as it has been superseded by the term Painful Bladder Syndrome. It relates to the original description of these symptoms, however, becomes a 'label' diagnosis that is best avoided. Some clinicians may disagree!

We've made the process as simple and reassuring as possible. No long forms, no referral letters. Just a clear path to the right specialist.
